Parallel is hiring: Engineering Manager in Paris.
Duties
- Directly manage the engineers of your stream (AI Engineers, Software Engineers, Forward Deployed Engineers): 1:1s, feedback, growth, performance.
- Own a stream end to end as its Stream Owner: drive its technical direction and delivery with your PM.
- Be a hands-on leader. Expect roughly 50% hands-on / 50% management — a bit more hands-on in your first months.
- Be responsible for your squad's tech culture: code quality, rituals, standards, knowledge sharing.
- Onboard new engineers and be the relay when the team changes hands.
